I got a call from "Floor Guy" tonight. Bart tells me that things are going well. He has the downstairs prepped and will start on the upstairs shortly. I can't wait to see them all done. He says they're looking good, so that's encouraging.
Sanding hardwood floors is a job best left to an expert and I'm fortunate to live in the same town as Bart, who is one. Hardwood only has so many sandings in it until you get down to the groove part - once you sand past that you're screwed. So, it's important to get it right.
I think I'll be really pleased with them.

I just wanted to say that i totally agree with you on this one. i hate the way that teenage girls think that it is somehow cool to label themselves as some kind of cheap person. i see so many girls wearing pendants that say 'bitch' or 'slut' or 'easy' and the whole making the term 'pimp' cool without fully understanding the implications really disgusts me. And you're right when you point to the parents to take ahold of their kids and stop this nonsense. But then i seem to agree on almost everything you write Patsy. Keep up the good work. i love your blog!!
